He combined two Toronto street names for his stage name. He fronted one of Canada’s most soulful bands The Philosopher Kings and now he’s back…singing on the subway and promoting his new music. Soul Station Volume 1 – The Songs of Sam Cooke is comprised of Jarvis Church backed by a ten-piece band doing versions of one of pop’s greatest singers.
